Well the majority of you are racing around the track right now having a blast....

I know a few of you already know about this but I wanted to put it on here and hope that the ones that are on the fence of going or not going will be convinced to go....

Who: PSAR, friends, families, and aquaintences....

What: Camping, Riding, and socializing (horse back riding too for Stormtrooper)

When: April 16, 17, and 18th

Where: Easton Wa

How Much: Electrical and water hookups site $17.00 a night (last years price, havent heard of price increase)

I called today and spoke to the owner and he requested that we inform him of how many and which sites we will be using so he can get most of the winter goop cleaned up. I told him I would be providing a list of how many sites, and people will be there by Friday March 26.

For those who are not going to camp but wish to ride with the group, there is a $5.00 fee per rider, for the use of the park and parking etc. There are bathrooms and showers ($.25 for 5 minutes) available, and fire pits in each site. I am waiting for a call back to let me know if we can use the wide open space in back of the bathrooms and playground for a group fire.

Some of us know this already but there is a Airport Landing Strip there and it is Government property, the Ranch has asked me to inform everyone.....NO RIDING ACCROSS FOR ANY REASON!!!...and PLEASE DO NOT USE THE AIRSTRIP AS A DRAG STRIP!!! we are allowed to use the existing trail that goes around the airstrip (at low speeds please) for trail access...and LAST BUT NOT LEAST NO RIDING WITHIN THE PARK EXCEPT TO ENTER OR EXIT THE PARK!!!......they might tell ya again if you go but they already said they will ask us to leave without a refund if we dont respect the rules.

Being a group as large as we are we really need to mind our P's and Q's so as to not burn any bridges along the way....we will want to continue riding in the areas we visit.

If you plan to attend please let me know so I can let the Ranch know...they may require each site to call and reserve their own site, but I will let you all know as soon as I know.

Pretty amazing just how quiet it gets on here when certain people headout of town. Almost like a cemetary around here. We're all these racers planning on staying the night tonight or are they all pooped out from riding all day.

it was great to meet all the other people that I havent met in person (cheech, joelrichard,,,,and all the rest)

I am sore, dirty, tired and weak.

I really need to get some handlebar time in before April 25,,,,,,,,,Ive gotten soft during my sebatical.

Had a hard time holding on to the bars today,,,,,,,not a nice feeling!!!

I'm with Bing. Tired, dirty, and I've got a good case of the whines to go with it! I also need some riding time in as well. It is scary doing fourth gear topped out and having the bars jerked out of my hands. The track was incredibly rough, but it is good practice for the real thing. They did say they will be grooming and watering the track for the race. (they did not groom from the last race.) Anytime I tried to sit down, I got a resounding jolt and kick in the a$$ from my seat to let me know not to get lazy. Guys, this was after one lap! Those of you who didn't get to practice but are racing, be ready for a grueler!

 

Well, just got home a few minutes ago after dropping Cheech off at his place and Happa is tired as all get out! He drove all the way home but Cheech kept him occupied with guy chit chat so much that the trip went very fast and Hap didn't have time to get too tired during the drive. He is now laying on the couch checking out his boo boos from the day. He said he has red marks on the insides of his knees from gripping his quad so tight [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Another all around great day, good weather but again windy and so nice to meet the others from the thread and finally have faces to go with the names [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
