What resturant? Is it recomended? We were just around the corner from U at 156th yesterday. I was driving the big bucket so I couldn't pull in to Ur place, plus cats and dogs where starting to fall from the sky.

U ever see those abandonded duplexes between 156th and 158th. I remember being there bout 6 and looking out the front window at a cloudy rainy day, the window sill was perfect height for me to place my chompers into and look at the neat patterns it made, but the taste I still can remember perfect, kinda metal like,(lead),[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

If by "single linked" you mean that the front 2 calipers and the one of the rear calipers are on the same master cylinder, then yes I do. I haven't had a single problem with it since I bought it in November 2004 and over 2100 miles of riding. The foot brake has it's own master cylinder and caliper on the rear disc. It gives nice differential braking and you cant flip it over backwards on a hill because the rear brake can't be applied alone. My 2001 AC 250 has the same system, except for the rear foot brake is cable operated. The only problem with the 250 has been wore out pads.

 

The rear foot brake gives you the option of the rear brake only, but I can't offhand think of a riding situation where I used it, except when coming down a hill with loose dirt or sand and want to retain steering while trying to slow the bike, but usually the engine braking system does that pretty well. I do use the foot brake to hold the bike in place on hills when shifting to low range, but other than that no much used by me.

Sounds like it would be a simple matter to add a cutoff valve in the line from the linked master cylinder to the rear brake caliper. That way if you wanted it linked in just leave the valve open. Used to do this on the old juice brake trucks so we could disable the front brakes to keep steering control on slick roads.

 

Sign still says "Rudy and Sally's" but some new folks are running the place. Corner of 149th and Ambaum. Food is good but service is still a little slow. Nice lady and her daughter bought the business and are getting better week by week. Sometimes a little tough to get a seat but most of the time it's OK. I wouldn't recommend bringing a truck into this park, not much in the way of parking and the turns are tight in a couple of places. When they bring in a bigger rig lawns get run over. A short wheelbase garbage truck just makes it.

I believe I know the duplexes you are talking about. Aren't they going to tear those down to put in new housing?

Lead can't be all bad for you, I used to carry a couple of extra pellets for my air rifle in my mouth when hunting for "quick reloads". Like it would make a difference with a pump up air rifle. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Between that and the arsenic we used to treat seed wheat and case harden metal and the, since labeled as, deadly sprays we used on the fields ain't no farmer should have lived past teenage years.
