Come on guys its 10 pm the day of the ride and I dont see any run down of what happen.....and I want before and after shots of the muddy Quad Larry
Safety Riding Class went cool, best one I been to so far and it was worth $75.00.
Went to Longview to ride afterwards and rode the Logging roads for a couple of hours and found a bunch of smaller trails off the logging roads to buzz up and down. Great view of the Columbia River, and all in all a great day.
Bing...sent you PM with info

No one has posted because we're all tired from a real fun day!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Larry, Rusty, Jim Ken were there, so was BARapt, YAM926, Dinger, & myself. we were there at 8 AM. Running late were outcastjoe & Bing
we rode all day long!, Rusty & Jim got seperated on the 3rd run and apparently had an accident and bent a bumper, they left before we returned to the Staging area (they left a note) Larry will update us I hope.
Then YAM926 had a BIG BOOBOO on the last run and Kissed a tree and turned his Raptor into an ATC (he's already modified his signature) And thank goodness, with Ken's Classic Honda, we were able to tow him out. That ended the day. (Oh. All his limbs were still attached and he was walking at the end of the day!)
I did stay and had a couple beers with Bing, he was camping up there.
YAM! hope you feel OK in the MOrning, let us know!
Bill

Hey Gang
That was probably the most fun I've had riding, the mud and water was great fun, I never knew having water spray all over you could be so much fun, makes me think back when I was a kid, playing in the water, running your bicycle through muddy puddles and how much fun that was. Thanks to Mark and Alan for showing us around.
We got Kevin and his 3 wheeler home alright, we're gonna load it up on my trailer this week, take it down to the shop and see what the damage is, he has to talk to his insurance guy first. We looked at it close at his house and discovered the radiator also is trashed along with the front plastic, so wish him good luck, you know how insurance companys can be to deal with.
Rusty hit a root, threw his bike off the trail, ran into a tree and bent his front bumper, that was enough for him, Jim went back to find out what happened, then they decided to pack it up.
Have to go to costco, buy a couple gallons of simple green, one for the bike, one for the clothes, wish ya'll could have seen Val's face when I unpacked the bag with my riding gear Don't want to get them too clean, I want to go back to Tahuya again, soon
Good luck to everybody in the clean up effort

Hey guys,
Well the good news is that I am still married, my wife wasn't too mad. My neck and leg are a little sore, but otherwise I am doing ok. I want to thank all you guys for helping me out, I really appreciate it. And Bing thanks for the puddle shower!!!! I usually get up the next morning to check out what I have to clean up on the Raptor, but for some reason I don't even want to look in the garage. I should find out something tomorrow about my insurance, they are closed today. There should be some pictures posted soon, I will let you guys know when they are up. Well thanks again guys it was a great ride and it nice to meet BARapt, sorry to cut the ride a little short. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Did you check out the track when you were down at Longview? there were only 5 race classes and after the races they had open practice. So RaptorChick and Racer-X got a chance to ride the BIG track for free. I got a chance to ride a ported and polished Z-450 it was nice and about the same as the YFZ450. It all depends on who got the better start. We flat dragged at the strip and only used like half of it there was a lot of water on it. The Z-450 had better top end gearing.
We ended up leaving around 4:00pm and it was a great day to race. The Track had a few wet spots and the clay stuck like glue. by the end of the day I am sure my bike added about another 45lbs of sticky clay that took for ever to clean.

Sorry to hear about the tree.
RaptorChick and I had been out there at Tahuya when she had the scrambler 500 and she found every root that was hidden in the puddles. She dose not really care for Tayhua for that reason. Or tight trails for that matter.
As for next weekend there are a lot of races going on.
WoodlandMX 11/02/03 Race #2
Washugal 11/02/03 race #1
Horn Rapids 11/02/03 Iron man 46 mile race (only one race)
Yakima 11/01/03 Arena cross Open race #1
Yakima 11/02/03 race #2
I have not decided on what race to be at I guess it depends on the weather. If it starts to rain then I will head East over the mountains if not I will stay on this side.

Hey everyone,
I am back. Heard you guys have been having a lot of fun while I have been working my tail off, haha. I couldn't wait to get back so I can ride again.
Let us know if anyone is riding next weekend, we were thinking of going to tahuya. Troy and I are both off on Friday and are thinking about camping also.
They are giving me some comp. days for the month I have been gone and I have two 4 day weekends coming in November. I don't think I will work a full
week at all next month, I can't wait!!!
You all have a good week and talk to you all later.
Steph
