Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

LokiDS650~~ I grew up in Longview and I was visting the parents because they were watching the kids while Tree-sa and I were taking the class (ATV Safety Course) and we just hit the logging roads before we went to get the kids...

I have been to the track in Longview but it was expensive to ride so we just drove my truck through to look at the track(s) and the property.

Tuhuya sounds like a fun place to ride, get wet, get muddy, and wreck your quad , Hope Rusty and Yam926 and their bikes are ok.

ZukiChick

Welcome back, Troy was a very good boy while you were gone I have the ok to ride next weekend, would like to go back to Tahuya, only problem is, we traded our truck in on a small car for Val, now I don't have a tow vehicle at this time, I have a bronco without a hitch, have to replace the bumper first, so I have a two quad trailer but nothing to tow it with

So if I can't work something out with Rusty or Jim, maybe somebody else has an ideal. Well, I'll see what I can do this week, I will find a way to riding, one way or the other.

Larry

Well, I got a line on a trailer hitch, no cost, just need to take it off another vehicle, hopefully do that tomorrow, now just need to try in straighten out the bumper on the bronco and I'll be in business, yee haa

Anybody else thinking about Tahuya again, on Saturday? How about Moses Lake on November 9th?

Had a great time yesterday. It was great meeting all you guys. Too bad the day ended the way it did. I was having so much fun I could have ridden till the sun went down. Of course I would have missed my daughters birthday and that would have been my last quad outing, he he. Tried to trick my wife into going to Tahuya for our anniversary next weekend. She's not biting, and I'm guessing I'm not going.

We might make it to Moses on the 8th or 9th. My wife works but I'd like to take my girls for a day trip. My youngest is still learning clutch but she's getting better every day. Still, Moses can be kinda crazy, we'll see.

Looking forward to riding with everybody real soon. Like to try Easton next time everybody goes.

Well I just got back from Tahuya, I went back with my brother-in-law. I had a grrrrreat time riding with everyone. If the weather is good next weekend I would like to go back but if the weather is bad I would like to go anyways. I might try the camping thing if the weather is good next weekend. How much does it cost Bing?

Well, heres were we are at. Roberta still wants to make another outing this year as long as the weather is nice. Im open to ride year round. BUT, this is where I sit, The 400EX is in the shop. If the repair costs arent too bad, ( i hope they arent) As soon as I get it back, Im thinking about putting it up for sale. We spent Saturday out looking around at different quads. Im leaning towards a V-Force. They are only asking 6499. A new 400 is 5049. ANd a quad sport is probably over 6000. I wont even concider a Raptor. (I wanna be different). I know, Im already different, right? Cuz Im the oldster of the bunch. Thats OK, I cant figure out how to grow up. I should hve bought new when I bought but I didnt and now the repair bills are starting to get me. If it wasnt for the lack of reverse, it wouldnt be so bad. But that V-Force would be less tiring for a long days ride. No shifting. Im gonna test drive one on Tuesday. And from here on out, I will seriously concider extended warrenties. They may well be worth it. So, as far as riding the coming weekend. I doubt it, as much as we'd like to, just dont have two quads to use.

Hey I up for going to Tahuya on Saturday. I can still ride with 3 wheels. I wish I could go but my Raptor is down for the count:frown. Hopefully I will be ready to ride next month if anyone decides to go to Moses.

Bing

Which bearing is the axle bearing? Thanks for leading us around Tahuya, I had a blast. Want to go back Saturday. Working on my chain problem right now, trying to make a good set out of two fronts, two rears and two chains, all are different sizes. Might be going back to 13/40 with stock chain, that set seems to be the least worn out. Can't buy all new right now, probably a little later on. Oh well, what ever will work.
Hope you get the raptor fixed with no problem, bearings can be a real pain in the @ss.
Good Luck
Larry

Hi gang! I managed to pull my head out of the books long enough to check out the thread. It is so long! How f@*?!ing thrilling! Anyhoo, I want y'all to know that I'm with you in spirit (and more than a mite jealous of your riding.)

Camping!!! Thanksgiving!!! Down at the dunes in Winchester/Reedsport. Who's going? I'll post again when it gets closer.

I can't wait to meet the folks I don't know and re-acquaint myself with the folks I have already met. I have seven weeks left til I'm done and then.............LOOK OUT!

Cheers!!

Marci
