YEP and you can think yourshelf to death about it................

Load your motor home, Weight it, subtract that number from the gross capacity and that gives you a ball park on WHAT weight of trl. & toys you can pull..........

Sean's right, Class C are just for the Weekend Warrior and not built for towing anything to large........

That paints you into a corner real quick, considering that includes the weight of the trailer as well. Figure (roughly) 500lbs per quad, then all the hoo-ha you'll load into the trailer, subtract that from 3500 and that nails down what kind of trailer you'll be looking at.

The 12' Triton aluminum enclosed trailer booked at 9k in 2003.

When we looked for our previous motorhome, we found most if not all gassers were limited to a small tow rating. Mainly because they're mostly built on a 1 ton truck chassis. My 1 ton truck has the same ratings as the last class A motorhome we had. The difference is the truck didn't weigh as much so I can tow more. It's only when you get into the diesel pusher/truck chassis that you get into something that can tow a reasonable amount. Anytime you see a gasser motorhome out there towing a car that weighs more than 3500lbs, they're most likely overweight. We couldn't tow Mrs. Toyz jeep with the last motorhome...

Hap, why would you need anything bigger than a 14' X 7' ? Do you plan on hauling more than 3 Quads at a time?
