Juniper is northeast of Pasco (Tri-cities).
Take hwy 182 through the Tri-cities and take the Pasco Kahlotus Rd. exit. Follow that road until you get to a private dirt road on the left called Peterson Rd. (there's crop dusting planes across the street). Turn left on Peterson rd and follow it in to the dunes. It's about 5 miles in to the first staging area. If you take the road to the right at the staging area, it will take you farther in, to the second staging area closer to the actual dunes.
Watch out for razor backs there especially on the back side. Also, there are power lines running through by the road. They are a good reference point in case you get turned around while out riding.
