A southwestern Minnesota lawmaker, briefing the Lyon County Board, said he expects the Legislature to again debate tighter controls on where all-terrain vehicles can be driven, the Marshall Independent reported. Sen. Dennis Frederickson said the tighter rules are being crafted only because of the irresponsible use of the vehicles by a small percentage of riders, the newspaper said.

 

Hey Lep7mn, Are there any atv,ohv clubs in that area? People need to work with the Minnesota law makers and the Lyon County Board. Sometimes laws get changed because no one gets involved.

 

I am trying to get one established, but I'm north of Mankato. Our first meeting is Oct 3rd. ATVAM will be down and the whole shi-bang. Hopefully we get a good turn out.
