you can also go to El mirage its off the 395. go up the 15 to the 395. It's about 15 miles up the 395. turn left on Crippen. there's a circle k there. there is also a sign telling you el mirage 12 miles. after you turn left go till it end's turn right. follow that up it's going to turn left after a mile and follow that down for about 5 miles or so you will see the entrance on your right. plenty of trails and a flat lake bed to open her up on.

Bear Down,
So, did ya make out to ride today? We went, and while there seemed to be a lot of trucks/trailers there didn't seem to be too many folks on the trails. I think most took off for very long rides. We went over to the next valley, found a road and took it quite a ways to the middle of nowhere. Not too hot as long as you keep moving. We had a good day, except for the CHP and the ticket I got. I didn't know that on a 4 lane highway a trailer could not go into the #2 lane. He tagged me for the lane violation but looked the other way on the speed (I was more than 15mph over the limit). I guess I was lucky? I'll wait to see how much the ticket is before I make up my mind. Anyways the CHP was out in force this moring in the pass. At least four patrol cars from the weight station to 395.
Also, there's a poker run out in Barstow in two weeks, it looks like fun. www.barstowpokerrun.com

We did not make it on Sunday I was hung over from my 10 yr. class reunion. We went on Tuesday and it was awesome. No one was there and we rode for about 6 hours. It's really nice and seems like people camp out there. It was cool seeing the Ostrich Farm. Lot's of trails and very easy to get lost but also easy to find your way back. Ride to top of the hill and look for the power lines and hills. This is a great spot to ride for the day. Thanks for the recommendation.
