I'm from Wisconsin Rapids and ride a lot on our own 280 acres..but also on some great public trails. Just got back from BRF after they finially opened these trails for the winter. They were to open on December 15th, but did not due to the warm weather. This weekend was fantastic. The trails had more snow on them than I expected. The best run was from BRF towards Hatfield. 20+ mile run that we were able to do just about wide open through the winding trails. Nice bankings and smooth.

Won some cash as the casino and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Nice place to stay.... don't stay at the Orange Moose (Arrowhead Lodge).

Looking forward to the Clark county trails next time.. I just don't know where to stay really. I can't seem to find a recommendation on a hotel... any thoughts?

Winter Riding with the heated grips ... no dust.... has been GREAT!

 

We always stay at the Arrowhead Lodge but that is always during the warmer months. We like it there.

We did stay once in the Winter and the snowmobiliers had a hard on for us...but that is common where ever you ride in the Winter. Some of them were nice others were just a pain.

 

Ride in FLORENCE WIS. Great trails. Its about 20 miles from IRON MOUNTAIN MICH. Stay at campground with lake across the road. Go for a ride then for a swim. 240 miles from milwaukee.

 

i was born in antigo and i now live near appleton. i like the mountain trail system and tigerton is one of my favorite places even though im not that good.

 

I live about twenty minutes from Perkinstown and I ride the trails quite a bit. They're a little rocky in some places but very fun to ride. Twisty and hilly.
