Ive been all over that place and never once gotten busted. The actual park SUCKS. There are a lot of trails out there you just have to find them. There all in the woods, but there is so much standing water there its tough to get through without a 4x4. I was out there last monday and went to Marshall Creek tuesday for the first time, it definetly blew lavon away. I'll be back at Marshall Creek this weekend.

By RR did you mean Red River or Rocky Ridge? It looks like there is a qualifing race at red river this weekend, so I guess you can't ride there? www.rrdr.org/2_day_qualifier.htm

Well ended up me and my 4wheelin bro hooked up Friday and went to Rocky Ridge at around 5pm when it opened. Rode out there till about 930pm, hada lotta fun since it was my first actuall time to get to ride out there, last time we went we where there for about 10 whole minutes then my buddy broke his colar bone.
Rode alot of trails and did some hill climbs that scared the CRAP! outa me. He rides a 97 Wolverine and Im on a 99 Blaster and the hills we were climbing were pretty tough for me.

I live about five mins from Lavon. It pretty cool for a once in a while place that's close. Lake Murry is execellent considering it's free and you can go swim in the lake. Rocky Ridge, I've only been there on a CR250. Is it really that good for Quads, I've had people tell me otherwise. And Red River Trails, I can say much bad about it. I wish they had more rv hookups. Shiloh Ridge is great, they have a lot of hookups.

Where can I bring the DS to have it clocked for 0-60 ET, 300 feet ET & speed, on a hardpack dirt surface? Top speed would be nice too, although that would take a long stretch of straight track. Are there racetracks that I can bring it to as a non-racer?

There is a place in Greenville that hold the Texoma Quad races every month they are open 7 days a week from 8am until dark it is a real nice place with a pretty nice track that you can ride on. i don't know of any places you could get clocked at except Motorplex in Ennis. You mentioned you ride a DS650 and I see your from Plano. I met a guy from Plano riding a DS650 at Muenster about 2 months ago...maybe that was you?
