Bauer's Pit in Minnesota
#1
Anyone looking for a sweet place to ride? Go to Bauer's Pit. It's in between Northfield and Faribault Minnesota off of Highway 3. They have everything a rider could ask for. Rocks, sand, mud, hills, jumps, trees. This place has it all. $10.00 per quad a day. They allow anything and everything out there. Legal and Illigal. Great place to offroad trucks and dune buggys.

A while back I heard that it might be closing. Something abought the guy that runs and owns it is wanting to retire. Do you know anything abought that. I would not mind making a day trip out of going up there rideing next spring but I dont want to drive 3-4 hours one way to find out it closed.

No, it will never close. at least i hope so. He's talking about leasing it when he dies. which is prolly real soon considering the owner is 92. And this is what he does for a living and he hasn't retired. It's open everyday. no hours. it's just an awesome place to ride and it would be well worth that drive i think.

honda400exteme03,
it starts at 7 p.m. If you take County Road 26 to Le Sueur, the Community Center will be on your right side, just after the High School.
As far as Bauer's Pit is concerned, I have some ideas, but not sure if they would work.

Hey maybe i'll see ya out there. I ride a 2003 honda 400ex (yellow) powermadd racing hand guards. and Answer Racing jersey and pants(yellow&red). I talked to Roy last weekend and he's trying to do some things to make the pit still open when he dies.
