Best place to go is Dayton pits in Sanford, Maine. 5 interlinked pits awesome hill climbs, drag races some good trails, and couple flat out sections.

I can't think of any legal areas in Eastern Ma to ride. I will be going out to Pittsfield and Beartown state forest this spring though. A few of my neighbors are State Police, Environmental Police, along with a Fireman, Local Police officer, Correction officer and an FBI agent. It's nice to have friends and neighbors like that, you never know when you'll need them.
I know what you're thinking, definately a safe crime free neighborhood

I'm from NJ and the best trail riding I've done on the east coast is the Allegheny National Forest in
western PA. Look up National Forests and look under Allegheny. They have 110 miles of all levels
and types of trails. Hotels next to Rt. 80 are cheap to stay. It's worth a road trip with friends
for some excellent riding. Anything further let me know.
I was thinking of riding in Mass this summer. Looked up state atv trails in Mass and found I think
about 80 miles of trails to ride all legal. Look up State forests for all the states near you and you be surprised all the riding to be done.
