Hello,

I am looking for places to ride muddy/rough trails. Not the so called gravel trails that seems to be becoming the norm with all these new crappy laws. Anyone know of any? We usually go up around Big Fork, MN but aren't heading up there till end of May and am looking for something this Sunday within 3 hours of the Twin Cities.

There are very few places to legally ride in the mud in MN. Mostly private property. There is a bit of mud at spider lake, gilbert, and red top.
If you want hard core, 4x4 stuff, try the dead horse run in Wi. Its the most awsome 28 miles of slippery ,wet, and challenging stuff ive riden.

Bauer's Pit, it is close to Rice County ATV Park. awesome place to ride, they got everything.

Thanks everyone. I know the DNR site has the maps but I am looking for some input as to where is some good areas to ride also. I would rather get the input of people that have been to places first than to drive there and be dissappointed.
