Sierra Nevada mountain riding/camping areas?

Sierra Nevada mountain riding/camping areas?
Looking for a place we can go to with our weekend warrior and ride our quads and the jeep right from. Anywhere within a 100 mile radius of lake tahoe is where we are looking. I have heard of boca near truckee but can you ride from there? Yuba pass i think you can ride from and there is a campground there. What about the bear river area off 88? Any other areas you know of?

There are gravel pits/quarry North side of Truckee by Prosser Dam that you can ride from & you can make it over to Boca & also to Stampede. Rode there this winter on SM, but friend has a cabin up there & says he has ridden it on dirt bikes during the summer. Also, some of the research I did says that you can ride from Bear River Res past Brett's & on over to SilverLake. Shows a trail on the map for the Jeep.
