We also had a great time and ride[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] The two riders we brought with also had a great time[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Loved the views of Anderson Flat and the surrounding areas of Yosemite[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Lot of wild life[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] My daughter was one of the lucky winners[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] She won second place[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] She didn't believe in the "daddy tax""( But, told me I would just get a "better" birthday gift[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Gotta love that[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
Anyways, thanks to all who put it on and helped everyone out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] From here, it's mstrquad, QuadKaryn, BlackandRedWarrior, Powerstroke01, and who ever else I might be missing[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Great ride. This weekend, 7th & 8th I'm going to be up in Sac. A friend is coming down from WA.
The weekend of the 14th I will be there. And what a great segway too. They need volunteers for the trail work. Interested? I posted over in the Land, Trail & Env. Issues a volunteer request and some info.
Anyways, if anyone is interested in volunteering call Linda at the Bass Lake Ranger District @ 559-877-2218 ext. 3200. She needs to mail out the volunteer form thing this week so she can get them back and approved by the Ranger up there.

RD.. glad to hear ya'll had a fun time.... It was great to finally get to meet you!!! I purposely manned a station during the run just so I could meet everyone that came through... sooo many new people.. Congratulations to your daughter for taking 2nd place... how much better does it get than getting to ride all day AND make money.. hah! Ya'll were out on a ride when we announced the winners so I didn't get her picture.. if you have one and want to email it to me, I'll put her up on the front page with the 1st and 3rd place winner...
The run was a huge success... great area to ride in, lots of friendly riders, excellent weather, great potluck sat night and even movie night in the middle of the forest (how cool was that!). I think we're going to try and do the run 2 times a year... possibly PiPi Valley next but still looking at locations!
BRW&PS1, good to see ya'll too... nice to see that PS1 didn't wreck this year.. this year it was Georgie's turn.. thank god for the tree that kept him from going farther down the hill!! But I'm thinking that poor bunny rabbit wasn't quite so happy to see you (or not see you which I think might be the case.. hahahaha) Gotta love the night rides!

Actually he was slow this weekend for some reason. And my bike was acting way funky. Sometimes after I'd hit about 3500' it would dog it at more that half throttle. Then, after the stop so blackshot could play tow quad driver (son's Yerf Dog blew a stearing joint), she started running really strong again. Did the same thing again later too when we went to Little Nellie Falls just past the nasty ruts. Then, again, she ran hard the rest of the trip (53 mile round trip).

Yeah i tried my hardest not to come into contact with objects that dont move. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Only damage this weekend was i ran into a bush and knocked my steering outta wack and some torn plastic from unknown contact....
I really enjoyed riding with yall. IM gonna deffinatly try and make as many rides as possible this year.
