Planning a day trip to Pismo on the 29th of january. If anyone is interested....

After spending the last 3 days in Pismo i understand why the locals dont really care for the out of towners. I have been riding for the last 8 weekends mainly pismo, a trip to clear creak, and 1 to glamis. so this last weekend we took the bikes but only logged about 2 or 3 hours over the 3 days. kinda burned out so we did alot of people watching on the dunes, in pismo, and in avila. Let me tell you we saw some of the biggest rudest pigs that ever walked the earth.when your riding you really dont get to see whats really happening. people just letting there trash blow away and not even worrying about it. Im not a tree hugger and really dont care for the people who get places shut down, but i was dissapointed in the way people were leaving the beach. Instead of ticketing the riders who hike or wheally down the beach i would like to see some plain clothes rangers on quads ticketing these disgusting pigs. we have always hauled out more than we haul in trying to keep it looking nice. not only at the beach but in the town, i know homeless is a problem everywhere but people treat these homeless people like they dont exist. We were having breakfast sunday morning watching the surfing competition when a guy bumped into a homeless lady with his car knocking her down to the ground and his comments were get up and get outof my way stupid or dummy or something like that.I dont know if she was really hurt or not but thats not how we should treat each other. I know the dunes are how they make alot of the revenues for the city. but i would like to see it closed just for a bit to teach the ones that take advantage of them. Sometimes you can learn alot more by watching what goes on all around you then trying to be what all the others are talking about. I hope a few of the pigs read this and take it to heart. theres nothing better than having a 50 foot piece of yellow marker tape wrap around your chain and axal.

 

Nice post 2 Big...I couldn't agree with you more. Yesterday morning I got up out at my usual hang out... Pole 6 and filled a trash bag within site of my trailer with yellow caution tape, beer bottles, plastic water bottles Yellow caution tape,oil bottles,fast food trash, and did I mention YELLOW CAUTION TAPE..... We rode out to comp hill, their fires were still smoldering and picked up beer bottles and beer cans.. Now tell me how hard would it be to catch these guys..I would like to see the fine for littering go to at least 3000 dolllars for the first offence and triple for each offence there after., with the offences staying with you for a life time. Maybe even a life time ban from the dunes. There should be a fine for the use of yellow tape, somthing like 99 years in the electric chair.
Last summer I rode out to the drag strip for a couple of hours and came back to find my trailer totally fenced in on all four sides the bumbling ***** even fenced off the restrooms. A trek to the beach and you are crossing no less than five fences. It reminded me of the Oaklahoma land grab.
Now heres the kicker Saturday afternoon some kids were dragging a couch behind a red F150 out into the dunes. some kids were riding on the couch. Sunday morning I ran across what was left of their couch between poles 4 and 5 not far from the back fence. No surprise!
Christmas eve just after dark I jump on my Quad and move it 5 feet so I can lock it to my trailer, a quad pulls up blue light flashing and I get this big speech like I am a little kid because I don't have a helmet on...okay so I was wrong but it was pretty darn obvious that I wasn't headed out into the dunes. Man do ya think we could pick our battles.
I to was sickened with trash that I saw out in our play ground this weekend! It really is time to take this serious or lose the Dunes all togather. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

im goin to carnegie this saturday. my zuki dealer told us that the R450s are in L.A. and that he is just waitin for em to get shipped up to us in Vallejo. if they get here by saturday we will be out at carnegie with em. i doubt theyll be here tho.

 

We're heading out for Carnegie with our good friends this afternoon. Looking to get there this evening, around 8'ish. Several from Club ATV West will be there too. Camping for the weekend... not too much rain, we hope!

 

my mistake, were pickin up the R450 saturday, then were headin out to carnigee sunday mornin with it. look for us in a silver 04 dodge ram with a white R450 in the back if you wanna hook up and ride.
