CALIFORNIA Quad Riders report here.....
#2001
Went out to carnegie sat am, met up with RD. It was extremely slick and even though it would have made me mad if they had done it. The hills should have been closed. They were almost impassible unless you were a fairly good rider. For me it was perfect, but there were a lot of people struggling on just the roads, let alone the trails.
The sons and I are leaving for Glamis thurs nite. You talk the little woman into it yet RD?

Sounds like everyone is having fun riding lately - especially with all the mud!
We're heading out to Hollister on Friday afternoon. We'll be camping at Madrone. Several from Club ATV West will be there. It should be a fun weekend. Potluck Saturday night . . . kinda decided it would be a soft taco bar . . . mexican in other words! Yummy!
Have a terrific week

Went to Jawbone/Rand Moutains yesterday couldn't ask for a better day to ride sunny mid 60's. Very good ride we logged about 60 miles riding good time. Looks as if they got quite a bit of rain there everything was still moist. For those of you who go riding out there trail 43 up to billygoat, I had gone down that way before but going up was a challenge with the 5 ft boulder blocking the trail that we had to climb over that was a blast....

Hi all, went to holister on saturday it was real busy, but had a BLAST. Its the first time I have taken my warrior there, man it was great. The upper trails were in great shape (some small rock slides here and there). Most of the lower trails were open as well with only pokets of mud and water. Alll in all a great time and can not wait to go back. It was the first time I have been there in like 5 years and there was a lot more quads than I remember. Maybe I can meet up with some of you guys sometime. Thinkin about going back on the 28th.

Terrific time in Hollister, despite the rain!
The sun came out for riding on Sunday. All areas were filled with trailers and toys. People everywhere. Rangers out in full force. They seemed to pop out of nowhere.
TONS of motorcycle. I can't even guess the ratio of motorcycles to quads. I simply know that it is frustrating that some motorcycle riders struggle to "share the trails" with the quads. I don't mind sharing the road/trails/hills/dunes (dependent upon where you are, obviously!) one bit, but some forget (my choice of word) and are dangerous in their manuevering around quads . . .
