Several from Club ATV West will be there 8/18/-20. I think one of the friends is actually gonna get there on Thursday; I sure hope so. Most often we are up at the end of Sand Highway and over to the right. However, we'd like to be a little closer to the beach this trip. (We've heard that the high tides really are the high tides lately!)
On our last trip, friends camped along the fence line before Sand Highway, high tide came up to the wheels of my truck one night, other than that, it was about 2-3 feet away from the vehicles It was nice being right next to the water's edge however, when the tide came in, it put a few idiot driver's to close to camp. Next time, we'll have camp set up higher and stake off more towards the water's edge.

Hey Putter, Do you ever get flyers on your door up there in Chino Hills? I.e painters, real estate, house cleaning, window blinds.
So before you say " Yeah those stupid flyers I HATE THOSE THINGS" That's my Company that does it!
Ok so now go ahead and say it LOL!
PS Might try to hit Azusa this weekend sometime just to get it out of my system. Beats sitting on my quad in the garage making engine noises with my lips. Have you ever noticed it's real hard to drift or powerslide when the quads not running?
If anyone heads up there I will be in the lowered darker blue F150 in the main lot. I think my truck got in a few shots in my gallery

PS PS If somebody is real mad at door to door flyer companys and wants to harm the owner he will be in the red truck parked down from me.

Not sure I'll be there unless i can get a friend or two to truck pool over.

And yeah, August for some reason can be REALLY nasty for high tides. Especially the first weekend or last in July (the last 2 years.) And if it's a full moon, bring your floaties. LOL

That would be cool if you did.

I usually get a tide chart as I leave and make note of where the high tide mark is when I get there and how much higher the tides will be during my stay. For every foot the tide will be higher I park 10-15 feet behind the tide mark. And I only go in at nite during low tide. Much less excitement on the beach to deal with at that time.

RD, its usualy to follow HIS plans.

My wife and I just got into riding ATV's. We live in Visalia and are looking at a local place to just get out for a few hours and ride around. I was reading about the Dos Palos area - is that still okay and can you give me further directions and/or other places to ride locally here arounf the Fresno/Visalia/Hanford/Lemoore areas besides Miami OHV park? I just bought a Kawasaki Prarie 360 4x4 and the Suzuki LTZ250.....Thank you
