RV dumpr? Several Rest stops on I-5 have RV dumps at them....and on heavy traffic weekends they line up to use them.....and they are free. One thing though, those I-5 rest stops mostly don't keep the water service intact.....so for thouroughly flushing your tanks, forget about it.....
Also most all the CamperWorld stores have free dumps too....with good water service, so unless they are stacking up behind you, you can really take care of business. there.
What I usually do is dump if I really have to badly, then dump and flush again at a place near my house......that I pay $15 for.....

A helpful, clean tip, is to put disposable gloves in the trailer for this Your black tank(toilet) is the handle on the right as your looking at the valves towards the rear of your trailer. Dump this first. After dumping it, use a hose or dump water down the toilet, to flush whats in the tank. After that, close the valve. Now, dump the gray water(sink/shower water) handle is on the left side as your looking at the valves. When you open it, it will flush out any crap(sorry) that was left in the hose. After it drains, close valve. Now, put some disinfectant (real cheap at wally world) into the black water tank thru the toilet, pour a couple of gallons of water into it and your done here.
TIP: To keep the gaskets on the valves from drying out, I spray them with armor all when I wash my trailer
P.S. they now have a service at Pismo that will dump your trailer at your campsite for $25. Well worth it IMHO
Here's an version I found:
Use a shorter sewer hose to make handling easier.
Carry a garden hose for rinsing in case the dump station doesn't have one.
NEVER use your fresh water hose for rinsing sewer hoses or the dump area.
Don't touch the outside of your protective gloves.
Store fresh-water and garden hoses in separate areas.
Don't dump the black-water tank until it is at least two-thirds full.
Never leave the black-water tank valve open when hooked up at a campground. Liquids will drain, leaving solids to harden on the bottom of the tank.
Gray-water tank valves may be left open when hooked up at a campground.
Place sewer hoses so flow restrictions are minimized. Use hose supports to slope properly.
Use heavy-duty sewer hoses. They are the ONLY hoses that will hold up under RV use.
If others are waiting to use the dump station, skip the tank flushing and hose rinsing steps. Pull away, then add your tank chemical.
Never put anything other than black and gray water into a sewer drain.
Leave the dump station area cleaner than you found it.

Did everyone that's going to Pismo over Thanksgiving make their reservations? Just looked and no reservations available Thursday and Friday that week Luckily I already made mine Was checking for friends. Guess, they are now going to Dumont.

wow.. You guys make dumping the sewer sound SOO difficult.. lol
Heres the last thing youll EVER need to dump the tanks.. http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...=SRCH&tcode=37
Weve used this for the last couple of years.. And we also use a sprayer that we installed in the black tank that cleans the edges of the tank..
Edit: Heres the in-tank sprayer: http://www.campingworld.com/browse/s...19&skunum=7332
