I want to buy a quad, and have found a good deal, but I have no way to transport it. Are there many people who go riding and leave from the Simi valley/LA area of CA that would be willing to lend a trailer spot for a small fee or I am just crazy for asking and should keep renting till I have my own transportation? I would also be willing to go in with someone to purchase a trailer in order to tranport both our quads.

Buy the Quad, then worry about hauling it.
Once you have that baby in the garage you will find a way to transport it trust me, lol....

* As far as the share the trailer thing that would work as long as both parties were within a few miles of each other.

I have a truck for the day rides and rent a trailer when use my RV........

Pismo. Rode the water line once. And parked it. Spent the rest of the weekend sitting around and yacking away. Haven't had that much fun at Pismo in a while. LOL

ATVKen: Do you have a vehicle to pull a trailer with? If so, keep checking the Pennysaver or Recycler, etc. Sometimes you can find a lot of good deals on an older trailer. It sure is nice to have your own quad to play around with - go for it.

Baldmike: Husband went out and bought a ski boat over the weekend, so I don't know when we'll be going riding now. Not for at least a few more weeks. Too bad we can't tow the ATV's and boat at the same time! Probably going to the river this coming weekend. Oh well, gotta have the summer AND winter toys!
