That's cool they have a track there My luck, I'd be on it and I would become just like a bug on the windshield, a SPLAT Good luck on your aspirations to race in a baja It would be cool to do itand to actually finish, would be awesome

hello folks, Has anyone been to gorman lately?
If so how are the trails and is there a lot of snow over there?
I plan on going on saturday with kids so no hard trails for them. If its not open then
I think I will head out to el mirage.

You people in your RVs, TTs and Ths make me sick..... with envy. LOL. It's ok, cause you all will come around wanting some grub anyways.
Now to just get my newly acquired 3 burner stove running. Granny bought it in October of 1956. My current Coleman stove dates back to late '73, early '74. I wonder if todays stuff will be around in 30-50 years? This stove is almost all cast iron with some brass fittings thown in. Supposedly was converted from propane to butane, but I have no idea. Never knew that butane was available in bulk cylinders in the US (It is in Europe). And how much of a difference that is, I don't know. Anyone have any experience there?

I might want some grub, but I know better, then, to let you in the trailer, to blow up some of that infamous cheezewiz

Butane, hhhmmmm, seeing where you live in the south part of the central valley, I'd watch out on how much you buy, at any given time But, check your local ag stores or buy a ton of small re-fill butane bottles for lighters.

Was going to head up last Sunday but I b*tched out, too tired.
Last time I was up there was in December before the drenching and it was already pretty tore up on some of the trails. Me and powerstroke01 couldn't get go north much farther than the tree that's been across the trail for years. Got to a steep section with a rut that must have had a magnet in it. He got most of the way up with his Outlander while I made it about 20-30' on the Warrior.
Looking to go this weekend actually. Let me hit up the buddies and see what they are doing. Usually ride on Sunday, but I'd prefer a Saturday. Give me a day to recoup and wash the bike.
Weather looks nice for Sat. 62/32 at Oakhurst so a little cooler at Miami, maybe. Partly Cloudy.

I'm bumming heavily . . . was just told by the doctor that I can't ride for at least 6 weeks due to my "tennis elbow" problem (although I don't play tennis). I guess that's what happens when you get old! And we're going to Red Rock/Jawbone this weekend - maybe I'll just ride one more time this weekend and then rest my arm . . .
I'm so pissed.
I'm so pissed.
