I don't know how long you've lived there, but down Foothill Blvd. going to Pleasanton past Foothill High School there was a really steep hill called " Danger Hill " (now it's rich people housing) but we used to snake hunt and ride Motorcycles up there it was fun as hell. That was back in the 1976 era.......

I have lived here about 16 years. I ride my Harley out foothill all the time we go to Sunol and ride through the Canyon. You are right, nothing but rich peoples homes. The place is changing all the time use to be cows on the hill sides, those days are over!

No... no skid plate yet. I have to have some tabs welded underneath since the new shiny chrome thingy (think that might be a swing arm, haha) doesn't have the stock tabs on it....
Make sure ya take some pics of the place you're riding.. we're always looking for new places... we may do a quick Carnegie or Hollister run this weekend... but thanks for the invite!!!

Oh sure, go to Hollister.
"...new shiny chrome thingy..." It's call a bearing carrier. Just ask one of your cadre of mechanics. Looks like a new mechanic on duty too...
I'll try to remember to actually take pictures. I'm always taking my camera and either leave it in the truck or never actually use it. Should be some gorgeous shots from the peak. It's 8,351' at the summit. Should be interesting to see how much the bike dogs at that elevation. There are a lot of trails and roads over in that area.
Me and power found a nice campground back in June on the other side of 41 (above and between Oakhurst and Mariposa). Then we drove the road up there in his Jeep. Yeah umm...they got lift kits for trailers? Cause you might need them. It's really twisty and hilly. Looks like you could get hung up coming up the closest road coming from the west. Otherwise you have to drive all the way around through Oakhust to you almost get to the southern Yosemite entrance on 41 and drive back along the Forest road about an hour. I'd just worry about tongues or back ends on the trailers hitting the road.
But there is some camping and lots of trails over in the Shuteye/Little Shuteye area. Above Bass Lake. Still should be a cool place to ride. Just might see if we can get some flat trailers to ferry over to Miami for trail crawling. George would love it over there I think.
Mike, you got PM.
