Most often we ride over at Pismo, as the wife has no problem with us going off to ride there. She loves the beach!

Anyway, we've convinced her to give it a try down in the desert. Do you know how the rains will affect Jawbone?

Heading out on Friday . . . hoping for the weather to clear up regardless!

All I can say it watch out for wash outs and if it is raining another thing to watch for is flash floods on the open desert. Look at my pics for an idea of what it like. But if your wife don't ride much there is really nothing out there but trails...... Have fun.......Stay dry. I'll be at pismo, probably wet also......

We're still trying to decide if and where to go this weekend. What exit do you use for Stoddard again? Is there anything else out there besides just flat trails - any hills, etc.? Hubby doesn't get Monday off either (I do!) so we'd have to leave on Sunday. We'll also have his 13 year old son with us, so I hope we can find other kids his age around.

We got off hodge last time but I think my uncle wants to get off at another street for this weekend. The road he is talking about is either 1 exit before or after hodge I think. Stoddard isnt what you think of desert riding...There are a ton of hills to climb and also flat areas.

Hmmmmm, maybe we'll have to try it out this weekend. Just looking to go somewhere not so far away this weekend since we figured everywhere will be a madhouse due to the holiday. That's good that there's hills, etc., because my husband gets bored with nothing but flat open trails. So once we exit the 15 fwy, I'm guessing it's the areas on the right?

2Big have you tried Miami Motorcycle Trails? About an hour north of Fresno. Take CA-145 up through Madera to 41 and go north from there. About 7 miles north of Oakhurst. Closest place I know of. Next is Atwater Cycle Park in Atwater. Pay-to-ride private track open to the public.

Yes teebone. ClubATVWest will be down in Madrone Camp at the end of the road. Should be a sign with Club ATV West on it. Early arrivals will be there Thursday night. Some people will be there through Monday.
