Chadwick Ride 6/19
The rest of the group are meeting in Segliman, MO at the Super Stop at 7 a.m....so I am thinking they will make it to Chadwick around 8:30 to 9 ish....
If you come up there earlier, I will be there though...look for that red banner that says...NWAATVRC...I'll be in a silver Dodge P/U with a 02 Yahama Grizzly 660 4 x 4 (Lt Brown/Green color). My friend Tyler will be there too. We will be camping out in the Cobb Ridge area.

rcrob, I took my 8 year old son on his trx 90 about a month ago and he got along fine. There are 2 places to unload, camp ridge and cobb ridge. The easy trails on the camp ridge side are easier than the ones on cobb ridge.
the loop marked 110, 113, and 108 on the camp ridge side are easy and a lot of fun for beginners and kids and are the same difficulty either direction you ride them. the trail marked 131 and 132a goes between camp ridge and cobb ridge. It is easier to go from cobb ridge to camp ridge than vice versa. There is one hill that might be tough for a young kid to get up, but not hard to go down if you are going the right direction.
On the cobb ridge side, 171 is a fire road and easy to travel. 105 is marked easy, and its not bad if you go downhill (toward 113) there are a seiries of ledges that arent bad to go down, but could be tough to go up on smaller quads.
It can be hard to find the unloading area on cobb ridge if you dont know where your going. As you go down H hwy from Chadwick you will come to the camp ridge unloading area first, if you go past it a little ways you will come to gravel road marked "LOOKOUT road" take that road and it will lead you to Cobb ridge unloading area and campsites.

Wished I knew that before I went...it was about midnight when we pulled in and we went down Camp Ridge and the park ranger sent us on to the other road. I think it would be better if they put a small sign by the road that says Cobb Ridge Campground this way...LOL! Anyways...we made it after one small mistake.
