Hey what up to all the riders in MI.... I am wondering if anyone enjoys riding their atv in presque isle county? My family owns a plot of land up there, and store our atv up there almost year round. Its a wonderful place to ride around, as there is a boat load forest roads, snowmobile trails, and other scenic roads. The county's finest (police for you that are slow to catch on) are almost non-existant, and if they do catch u almost always they let u go without a problem... Some of my favorite places in that area are the trails between millersburg, m-68, 638 and ward branch... Big cut is also an interseing old gravel pit to cruise around in. Basically from what I have found, the southwestern part of the county is the best.

Has anyone else been in this area?

 

My quad stays in Cheyboygan County year round, havent been into Presque Isle County on it yet but have been to Millersburg and Hawks by snowmobile numerious times. Heard from a guy at work that ATV's are permitted on the shoulders of all county roads in Presque Isle, would be nice if Cheyboygan allowed that too. Might try to go to the Black MT over Labor day, its awesome by snowmobile and hopefully just as good on an ATV.

 

Cool... I know a lot of the back country and its pretty interesting. Although u cant go too far on a kawa 220 bayou 2wd, its fun anyway. See you on the trails~!
