What weekend would that be? I have a vaction planned the later part of July...The weekend of 23-25 or 30-1?
I may go have a look for myself the weekend of 16-18...I really need to test my big bike bad, before the next big ride in OK...
Let me what ya'll decide, we may be able to make it too...

Just to let everyone know. I checked the dunes in Sicily Island out yesterday. He has 1 long, smooth drag strip but also room to make another. He is very open to what we as riders or racers are looking for. He told me that he will do whatever it takes to keep the strip smooth. He dont have near the open sand that Barney has, but if it proves to be a quality and safer place, I believe it will be something to consider. I will be there on the 17th.

The sand section is kinda small with a few very steep hills. But it has a lot of trails to cover the whole 340 acres. I would say that he has approximately 10 acres of pure sand. But he also said if he can get the place up and going that he has access to an additional 340 acres.
He is in the early stages of developement. But, he is up for any suggestions to make it a better place.

 

Sounds like it may turn out to be a great place.....I am planning on going there some time this week just to check it out and see if there is any place to park the hauler.....Then I would bet on being able to make it the weekend of the 17th also.

 

Sounds good shaunonl, I will plan on being there on the 17th as well. I will be bringing a few bikes myself. Just to let you know, He has plenty of room to park the hauler.
