Hey central MN riders !!
My son is gone for the rest of the summer visiting his mom,and even though I have a lot of little projects around the house, I miss riding, but don't want to ride alone !! If anyone has some spare time and doesn't mind riding with an old fart, drop me a line, we can take a run up north, or whatever. Sport or Utililty, it doesn't matter, I have no problem leaving my son's 300ex in the dust, so don't worry about me keeping up !!!! My work schedule is a bit odd, with days off during the week, and working some weekends, but let's see what we can work out.
I think it would be great to actually meet the people I have read about or replied to posts face to face, so here's hoping to hear from some of you !
Later.

You read my mind... i was thinking about trying to get people together for another ride, somewhere around labor day. I was at danbury last week, and had lots of fun. Rode into web lake , filled my tank and tummy, and had a real enjoyable ride.
Im open to place and time. I have a utility, and would like to meet more of the guys here on the forum, a bunch of us had fun in brf last may.
wheres darwin at?

Darwin is about an hour west of Minneapolis on Hwy 12, I live south of there, I'm surprised you haven't heard of Darwin, home of the largest twine ball made by one man !!!! I was hoping for a ride sooner than labor day, doesn't have to be much, a day, or whatever, keep those replies coming !!!

Are you looking for a challange, for 4 wheeling, or just a ride? Have you been to the Red Dot trail? I might be able to get away, before labor day, but lately ive been working 6 days a week.

I'm not looking to bury it up to the fenders, but any type of trail is fine. I've never been on the Red Dot, and it wouldn't be a real far haul to get up there. Since I installed the Warn 424, sport or 4x4 riding is a snap,so what ever works out for someone is fine for me. I hear ya about the work, I'm doing 60 hr weeks myself, thats why a ride would be nice to get away.

I was thinking red dot, because it easy to get to and not that far. Theres parking in downtown isle, and its only about 5 miles up the soo line to red dot.
It shouldnt be very muddy, but there are a few trails that are narrow, and wind thru the woods. Ive made it on an ozark before, so it isnt that bad. Im not into deep mudding, either. But i like using the 4wd on the honda sometimes.
Its close and should be easy to do in a day, but im open to other ideas as well.
