Hey guys:

One of the biggest problems is NOISE. I've heard more people complain about "those loud ATVs". If they couldn't hear us, they wouldn't care. Putting a loud pipe on your machine is just plain stupid. It's one of the biggest causes of why we are losing land everywhere. We should come up with a slogan. Maybe something like, If you have a big loud pipe on your bike, then you must be compensating for the little softie in your pants. What do you think?

 

Absolutely right!. We have to work harder at being better neighbors with these people, because it looks like their here to stay. It's everyones responsibility to ride during decent hours and be as quiet as possible, not to trash other peoples property and just not act total a$$holes to others. You'd be suprised at what you can get from people when your polite and considerate!

I haven't checked this board in a while. I agree that loud pipes are just a way to draw attention to yourself. Riding locally...Lowell, Ricca, and Dracut is a pain. As stated, 99% it's illegal in 99% of the areas. With everyone moving up north, even S NH is becoming a place where we can't ride. I usually ride near Conway NH. There are still some spots up there but they're starting to shut down places up there too....It sucks!
