Dress a little warm, I'll throw some longjohns under the armor myself. That wind will cut right through ya once you stop moving and cool down. Cotton wicks it away from the skin nicely.

Colorado: Pawnee this weekend?
I think Pawnee opens on November 1st - at least that is what the national forestry website said when I checked it a week ago. I moved to Loveland a year ago from Florida - just starting to get a friend network going. Where are you located? I ride alot at Berthoud at the MX track with my 5 year old son, and cant wait for something cheaper like Pawnee to open up. Your posting doesnt state your ride of choice...

Colorado: Pawnee this weekend?
Made it Sunday, had a blast abusing the boy some more...
Don't know if any of you made it, but the rest of the state did. Crowded, but not quite enough for everyone to get in each other's way (With the exception of Bubba as posted in the land use forum). Lotsa fun...
Finally had a problem with the Chinese bike. My fault, but fair's fair. I shortened the rear spring for my wife to learn to ride. Forgot I had done it, and bottomed out hard on a jump... tore through the spash guard and managed to pull a wiring harness out.. tore it free of the coil. Done for the day!
It was late, and many hours of fun had preceeded.. so alls well that ends well. Re-wiring bike and getting a new spring to keep on it when I ride. I'll put the shioorter one on when she wants to practice..
