Anyone been to Wanoka Ok or Little Sahara?
I haven't been there but they tell me it's nice. Sand dunes that are as high as 75 feet. The two places you mention are both the same place. You can go to http://www.waynoka.com and find a website that tells all about it. It's about 4 hours from where I live so it's a bit far......I'm not so sure I like what damage is possible from sand....... My son and a few others went back in October so I got to hear a lil about it. He blew second gear while he was out there, now the rear axle bearing has decided to shell out, not sure if it is sand related but I wouldn't doubt it.....I hear it's really awesome however you might want to make sure you clean it very well after you are done....also to have shock socks and proper air filtration as the sand is very fine! .......now ya know some of my thoughts

Been there several times and can't wait to go back. Tall dunes, great fun. You don't have to have sand tires but they sure do help. Be sure and bring a roll of quarters for the showers and reserve a camp site early if you plan on going in the middle of the summer.

Been there once, had fun.
It's not very big and there are no really tall dunes to climb compared to other dune places. But it does have some fun sand trails and the camp spots are pretty nice. If you've never been to the dunes I do recommend that you check out little sahara, I think you'll like it.

It's not Glamis but it is still a great place. We've been there twice this year and we live in Illinois. It's about a 12 hour drive but it's worth it.
Take all your spare parts....Waynoka is on the backside of the planet. The local quad shops have stickers, flags over priced t-shirts and sand tires for rent.

We wanted to try Silver Lakes in Michigan but they have so many screwy rules up there. I think your first day to ride costs something like $60. You have to go the night before and do some kind of lottery to see when you get a turn at the parking lot. Really wierd.
