Default East TN Windrock ride

I was curious if anyone is interested in getting together for a few days to ride at windrock. Its located in onieda TN and is a great place to ride. It consists of 219,000 acres to ride on with well over 100 trails ranging from easy to extreme all trails are well labled and kept up. There is a huge camping area there and you have mud bogging pits and so forth alot of sight seeing to for the outdoors person. If anyone is interested please post if your around the TN area or if you might want to make a trip from anywhere else and we can arrange a date. http://www.windrockatv.com/

above is a link to the windrock site out of all the places i have every rode this is the best for all around riding

Sure...I got up there all the time....went twice last week, I live 30 Min from the OS or Newriver entrance...I usally come in from the New River side on HWY 116.....

I would go.... and about 4 other bikes....

Have you been on trail 12? I'm thinking about tackling it sometime next weekend with some friends. I hear it is pretty rough...never been on it though...

So you enter near the north side right and come down the gravel road??? Well hey shoot me an email at reenoip69@aol.com and we can find a time to meet up I am going this friday saturday and sunday most likely. But as to trail 12 its honestly not that ruff contrary to what people say. The last two times I have been on it my tie rod end gave out and the time before that a friend of mine had a eyelet on a shock break off so yea 12 has beat me the last 2 times. I am up for riding trail 12 i usually hit the difficult and extreme and unmarked and groomed trails. If you can email me we can exchange info and meet up

Not to split hairs, but Windrock is in Oliver Springs, Tn....Oneida is almost 60 miles from there.

Windrock is an awesome place to ride. I went there for the first time in 2002....I've put over 6000 miles there in that time. It's well worth the drive down from Michigan. Trail 12 is a great ride. It is very rough and rocky. You cross the creek 16 times I believe. Please be careful on it, it is one of the more common trails to have something tear up on you.

Yea I knew thats where it was obviously i was not paying attention when i typed it in. I mean its local for me I am only 30 minutes away and ride there every weekend sometimew 2 or more times a week. But trail 12 is a difficult trail but there are alot of trails that are much worse. I broke a ball joint on trail 12 last time and luckily had a spare to get me out and to the truck. But hell man if your ever down this way again shoot me an email and lets go riding. So you know the rates went up 15 a day or 80 a year they raised them so that they can buy a bull dozer and build a public restroom and office for the ticket sales.

That is funny,

we had 2 AC a 400 and a 500 both green...and we had a honda forman and a 220 bayuo.

We was passed by 2 guys with helments....with Grizzles...i thought....this was going to 12 on the gravel road....

We passed 2 guys on 12....1 was a Honda Rancher and the other I don't remember what is was?

Was any of these you?

We was going down 12 at around 2:30...to 5:00....around that time...

I think we are going back on MLK day....the 17th....
