There's a forest road 9n40 that is just befoe you get to elkins flat. I camp there alot and it's a great place to start. We've got to know the area so well, that we go for night rides, what a blast, and you never know what you might see. I recomend going to the eldorado nf site, and ordering yourself a map. There a literally hundreds of miles of trails and forest roads available in this area.
