Any Indiana riders out there? I ride at the badlands in Atica,In. I would like to know if anyone has riden down in Dugger, at what they call redbird? I would like to ride down there, but its about three and a half four hour drive. I would hate to make the trip just to be turned away. Anyone with information please let me know. Thanks

According to the INDNR page http://www.state.in.us/dnr/outdoor/ohv/index.htm
I would say that it isn't offically open as of yet. Probably better to save the trip till its offically open.

Hey MarlboroMan,
I'm originally from Michigan City and ride with a group of guys around City. There is an area right across the street from the State Prison that is pretty cool. One of my best friends has a bunch of cousins who live in and around LaCrosse. I have never gone out there myself but they say you can ride for days out there.
We are going to Silver Lake next weekend [the 29th - 31st] You are welcome to meet us up there. I'll warn you now, these guys are speed freaks so bring your "A" game! Get back in touch with me thru email or post and we'll talk more.

Some people say you can ride across from the prison and some say you cant. Ive been by there a few times, but never riden there. Id like to go to SilverLake but I dont get to many weekends off. I had to call off work last weekend to go to the Bandlands, so my calloff days are numbered.I was told that you had to regester a day in advance to ride at silverlake?
