I'm getting tired of running around my yard, so where do you ride in SW Ohio?

 

Hello LOANSHARK, I live in Middletown. There is not much avaliable in this area that I am aware of. The closest places are, Haspin Acres in Laurel In.(750 acres,$17 a day), Big Rock in Maysville, Ky.(2000 acres, $17 a day), Wayne National Forest(Monday Creek, Hanging Rock, and Pine Creek OHV areas, $25 a year). These are all within about a 3 hour drive for us. We have ridden all of them, but seldom go to the "pay by the day" areas. We do most of our Ohio ridding at WNF Monday Creek area. We just got back from Hatfield-McCoy in WV. Beautiful. We also ride at Windrock 3-4 times a year, getting ready to go on the "Windrock Spring Ride" next month.
I have two brothers that I ride with, and my wife rides with me quite often too! PM me if you are interested in getting together for a ride sometime. What do you ride and what type of ridding do you enjoy?

 

we usually go down to big rock in maysville. we want to go to daniel boone, maybe hatfield-mccoy this summer. locally we ride in enon. we've been to wayne national forest and were very disappointed. the trails were groomed too much, almost like they didn't want us to hurt ourselves, lol. i've never been to haspin but from what i've been told i don't think i want to.

 

Its worth the trip to hit Windrock in TN or Hatfield/McCoy in West Virginia. Both of those locations are about 5 hours from cincinnati.

 

Another good area that I have read about and will be going to in May is Harlan Co. Ky. Check them out at www.kyoutdoors.com/hcrr
