Baltimore, damn, any place to ride down there ?
I will find out what is going on but back in the day you couldn't beat (Millville, belleplains, elizibethtown) although Blackwood use to be great and I just found out Chatsworth is pay to ride.
Does anyone ride in Florence NJ under the turnpike bridge anymore ?

Since you're from Maryland, I'll mention a little spot I found. Its not much, just a few acres but it may not be too far from you. Look on a map for the C&D Cannal. It runs east to west accross Deleware and marlyand penninsula. On the north shore at the state line on the Maryland side there are a few acres. I've only been there about 3 times. I've been warned about crossing into Deleware. I hear they are really hard on ATVs there but this little piece of maryland was hassle free.

One time I was there, I heard a local sherriff showed up looked arround and saw that everyone was wearing helmets and left.

I live just a few miles from that place on the C&D canal. Its called the Leve's. I know the Sheriffs Office hawk that area pretty good. I know this to be a fact as I worked there for almost 12 years and just recently left. What happens is either somebody from town council calls the police of the Army Corp. of Engineers call to report the atv activity. If you go and you are approached by the police dont run as its like hitting a hornets nest with a stick. Good Luck and ride safe!!

Now thats an interesting way of looking at what you were reffering to as well as just riding in general.

Why is it that we as a group have allowed this to get to this point in the first place?

I have been questioning some of my friends and family that are involved with law enforcement about why they believe the officers are being "forced" to spend so much effort on off road issues and its interesting that most agree that its due to complaints from residents, but more and more seem to be feeling that there is also a good percentage of "politics" involved in that the mayors, council, and other elected officials are pursuaded to up their anti off road efforts.

I think I have a good guess at who is pushing the political buttons do you?
