Haven't been there yet, but others have. Till you hear from someone that's been there, check them out at www.motocrosspark.com. FYI: I sent them an email over a week ago, but have not gotten a response, yet.

just went to haspin yesterday. It is a great place to ride. I would be very cautious with children there, there is some very ill-responsible idiots riders there. The rate of people with no helmets there is getting staggering. I go to Haspin all the time. You just have to watch out for the "other" guy more there. They have alot of different ridding there. Two motorcross tracks, hills, mud pits, lots of trails, flat drag strip, camping, ponds. Haspin is fun, you just have to remember that it has been open for about 25 years and it shows. So, on your comment about not getting an e-mail, they probaly have somebody maitaining that site. Just remember the weekends get pretty crowded. Try the place out, it's worth it.

I have been to both badlands and haspin acres. badlands has way more sand but haspin acres two MX tracks more than make up for it other than that they are both great. As he said watch the kids there are people there in sand rails with a bottle of wine ridding at 11:00 at night. they also have a dirt drag strip to show your buddy whos faster.

I have rode at both Haspin and at Badlands. If I was going to take kids I would probably try to go sometime other than the weekend. They want people to wear helmats but they dont and it is their fault they do not enforce it.I have ridden their for fifteen years and the place has gotten very rutted. There is also way too much drinking going on while people are riding.Thats why that guy got killed their a week ago.If the place had good managemment and did away with the railbuggies and jeeps I would probably go more often.Try it once and see what you think, butIwould avoid the weekend.
