Default Registering ATV's

HELP! We bought 4 Kazuma quads, and its becoming that time of year! But we have a dilemna, we need info on how to register them. We bought them new at Raceway ATV from John. We have the certificate of origin for a vehicle form but it is not filled out. So we need to know where to go, what we need to bring, and how much it would cost. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Btw...were new to the forum. Hello everybody! Thanks, Heather & Steve

Make a call to your local Dept of Motor Vehicles. That's where I started.

douchie,

Welcome to the forums.

You may want to call John at Raceway, I think he should have filled out and signed the certificate of origins for you. Then follow IdahoVinnie's advice and call your local DMV for the rest of the process. When I bought my daughter's ATV the dealer had our certificate of origin already filled out and signed. Also the forms you will need are online for you to fill out before you make your trip to the DMV. When you get your ATVs registered post what was needed to get them registered.

I hope the registration process goes smooth for you.

Good Luck.

To ride on public land the quads will need an approved USFS spark arrestor. The silencer will have the USFS approval stamped on it. This is why i changed my daughters silencer. I did not want to hassle with the stock pipe that did not have the proper markings on it. Now you do not have to change out the stock silencers. You could just put a sparky on the end of the silencers that are already on the quads. They are around $80.00.

Good Luck.

I have not had to charge my battery yet. But when I charge my boat batteries I will charge each battery for around 2 to 3 hours at a time until fully charged. You could also get a float charger to keep the battery fully charged. Like this one Float Charger

Good Luck.
