Me and my wife will be spending Christmas in the San Bernadino area of Souther California. We were wondering if anyone knows were we could rent a couple of Quads in this area. WE dont mind driving a few miles once we are there. We both ride now but are not taking our Quads with us. We just thought it would be great to ride in the dessert or something while our friends back in Northeast Pa. were freezing there butts off. Any information would be appreciated thanks Hambone!!!!

 

I would be interested in this info also. I have to spend 3 thru 23 of Dec. in southern LA on business. My weekends are going to be free so it might be something to do.

There's 3 places in Pismo and, but that's about 3 (or so) hours north from where you're going to be.

 

Recreation unilimited in Orange (< 1 hour away from SB) rents mostly Honda quads (EXs) and Banshees. Their number is 714-288-8100. Enjoy!

 

Hambone-I live right next to San Bernardino. I wouldn't mind showing you around. There are a million great places to ride out here. My girlfriend and I have 9 bikes between us, so we could probably lend you something if you want to ride with us. If you've never ridden dunes, try to get out there if you can. Let me know.

Mtngoat-I remember form a previous post that you said you rode an XR400. You weren't camped at Crab Flatts during Labor Day weekend were you? There was a guy camped next to us who was form Big Bear, he was riding an XR400 and had two kids with him who were also on XR's. Just wondered if that was you.

Sorry for the delay; out on vacation. I wasn't camped at Crab Flats, but I did ride through that weekend on the way to Deep Creek. That area is one of my favorites. Great quad and bike riding. I have two XR400s (my boys ride too). Hopefully, the burn area will open this summer. If you guys hook up, let me know and I'll try to meet you.
