The state has 2 public places. Brown Mountain ORV, north of Morganton is nice. Another I believe is Morrow Mountain OVR park

Brushy mtns trails look awesome but the only thing bad about that is that im 12, but 13 when I go there, and the law says I have to be 16 or older to ride a 250. I really have to ride a 90. grrrrrr. I aint ridin' no 90! Would they still let me in? My dad would be with me on his ATV.

I can tell you they will not let you ride there. They are very tight on their rules, they just don't want to get sued, shut down or someone hurt. You can ride at Brown Mountain, but ride the moderate trails first before tackling the difficult ones. Hope this helps.

hey i know of some trails near wilks co. and ashe co. private land but every one around rides there. one place is wiperwill in north wilkes. and the others are actually in tenn. just in mountain city . there is stone mt. and callelente
I think thats how its spelled . any how there are not age laws on size but helmets are a requirement I belive .
a person can also camp there . they offer woods trails of all levels and some tracks too. what type of riding do you do? or what kind of quad do you both ride ?? also in ashe co people ride on phoenix mt. there are a few trails but still fun for a short tripp ..
