We always stay in Gilbert. If your camping, then stay at the Twin Hollow Campground. It's got a long driveway, all uphill, but it is nice and isolated up there. Plus, you can get to the trail from the campground. Also, just ride your quads into town right from the campground by way of the trail.

Hey give happy trails a call 304 732 6096 or visit there web site at happytrailsatv.com . I just finished some nice trail houses there. It's on a big corner lot with there rental shop, right in the middle of town but it still looks country. They have sat. tv,phone, kitchen, etc. sleep 5 or 6 theres a fire pit outside with oak log chairs, I think you would like them. Oh and the crime it's know worse than anywhere else, but we are across the road from the wyoming county sheriffs dept. and right next door to the chief deputy. All in all your stuffs probably safer in our front yard than yours . We don't have our pictures on our web page yet but I'm working on that too. Just give someone a call and we'll try to help somehow. p.s. theres a 800 number on the web site I just can't remember it right off.(sorry) atvrideraj@yahoo.com

I wouldn't worry about it. The elevation in Gilbert is only 829 ft. The most it might be on the highest part of the trails shouldn't be more than 1200-1300 ft. I think you'd be just fine.
