Im Orginizing a group ride on March 3rd at Slades Park in Virginia. Trying to get area riders together in hopes of making new riding buddys and maybe share new places to ride. This is a informal group ride, you are resposable for your entry fee and yourself. There could be makes of wheelers from 90cc to 800cc and all are welcome to come ride. This group ride is not about who has the fastest atv or the baddest machine. It should be about having fun and meeting new riders. Bring a good attitude and a be ready to offer a helpful hand.

I'll see what I can do. I'd really like to go, but until I get the trailer right I don't wanna take it very far. My dad's supposed to be making me a bracket so I can add some weight to the front and get it to settle down on the road, so I may have to get on him about getting that for me. As soon as I'm sure one way or the other I'll get back to ya'll.

If you can get down to Chester I can load you up in my trailer for the ride to Slades on Mar. 3rd. I live a minute off of 288 and Chester road.

I have a two hauler as well so if anyone needs a ride let me know. My quad is currently stored just a few minutes from Slades but if necessary i can travel a short distance.

 

It gets me uncomfortable just doing the speed limit on 360. I can only imagine what it'll do going down 288 at 70mph. I'm working on getting it straight now anyway, so hopefully I'll be good to go by the 3rd.

 

The fastest I have gotten my 360 is 40 and it is fast enough for me. I usually do about 15 when doing the laps around the property.

 

You silly beach people. lol. I was referring to pulling my trailer with my truck on Route 360. Around 45 is starts to fishtail a little. The speed limit on 360 is 45-60 depending on where you are, and around 55 is gets bad enough I can feel it moving the back of the truck. I don't even wanna know what it'll start doing once I get up to around 70 going down 288. I wouldn't have thought having the weight more on the back half of the trailer than the front would do that, but I have proof it does.

 

Sorry, can't make it the 3rd, left post under VA riders, going to go this Tuesday with son, not as crowded. If anyone wants, I'll post the trail conditions. Heard there was a couple of really bad holes will keep an eye out. But anyway, that's my 2cents.

 

Hey misterhappy, Sorry havn't spoke in a while but been busy working you know how that is.Making plans to see everyone on march 3rd.Would like to know what time everyone is going to get to the park or if riders in the chester area would like to get together that morning to drive out at the same time that way people can put a face with the name.We might need to do something to let each other know that we are from this forum.hope to hear back from you soon.This was a great idea to get all these riders together just to have some good old fashion fun.
