I just bought a 07 raptor 700r and i need a place to ride. does anyone know if their is anywhere around Charleston SC that is anygood? and is there anyone around here that likes to ride? i have this new beast and have no where to really open it up. i have only gotten out of 3rd gear and had to slam on breaks. just looking for a place to have a good time.

Yeah the Wambaw cycling trail is a great place to go. It's north west of charleston (US 17 N past awendaw, then about 15 miles down steed creek rd). takes about 40 minutes from mt. pleasant. We go out there every third weekend or so. It has some nice trails and only costs about $5.00 per day i think. It's in the national forest. I've seen many quads out there, but i ride a big bear so i spend more time in the mud along the power lines. make sure you bring gas and food, because its at least 10 miles to the nearest gas station. Depending on what part of charleston you are coming from it may be faster to take clements ferry road past highway 41. Let me know if you need more information or better directions

If you live in jacksonboro there has to be thousands of acres of land where you are.. try to talk to a few ppl around there. you are bound to find someone if not lots of ppl that ride regularly. goodluck.. if not let me know when you're heading to wambaw, would be happy to meet you out there and show you some of the trails.
