I just heard from a friend that Glammis was closed for the season?? We were planning on a trip down there on 4/28/07. Is this true??????

 

It never closes per se, but the weather effectively "closes" it when it turns hot! We are talking summer temps well over 100 degrees, every day. 90 degrees and windy yesterday.....

If you are in a motorhome or toy hauler where you can hide inside where it is air conditioned during mid day (and just ride mornings and evenings), then you can actually go out there pretty late in the season. If you are tenting it, maybe not???

It can be absolutely miserable when it is windy for long periods! Having a place to hide from the wind is very important....
