I am going to Hawaii for the first time on wed. I have booked a 2 hour ride with an ATV tour place. It will take you to back country waterfalls, etc. I guess they filmed portions of Jurassic Park there too. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it?
I wish I could take my bikes!

It's a touristy thing, the bikes are lame and it is just a ride along the koolau mountain range on the widward side

 

Ok I just got back and the ATV ride sucked. It was beautiful, but the "ride" was lame. They had Suzuki Eiger 400 quads. I thought this won't be bad. Then they say they will go 5 to 10 MPH in single file. Then you get on one and the throttle is limited to about 1/8"....WTF!

Jimbo, where is there to go to rent a quad and ride? If it exists.
