Girl dies at Wellsville
Whether it is a ute or a sport is irrelevant. There are far too many options available to blame it on a certain type of quad. The rider is what causes the accidents - not the bike. Yeah, some are heavier or lighter or handle different, but in the end it is the rider that causes the quad to do whatever it does. I have never had any vehicle do anything on its own. Except the responsibility or don't ride. Except the fact that these things are inherently dangerous. If you have had numerous crashes, roll-overs, etc - maybe you should look in the mirror.

You sure that's not a reference to his son's pot charges?
I think all the hot air coming out of algore's bloated face is the cause of global warming!!!
Not to mention his four (yes, four - count'm - 1, 2, 3, 4) houses, his entourage of SUV's, private jets, and his zinc mine.

i just became a member today. and was reading about what happen with that girl..and i truly agree with what you are saying 100% it doesn't matter what she was ridding or were it happen and what she was or wasn't wearing.it was a accident and they happen. people need to learn from what has happen. and move on.. i have a 1999 kaw prairie 300 4x4 it has alot of power and it's big and fast, but i know what it can and can't do. i truly pay attention to my machine. lets just say i depend on my michine!!! so paying attention plays a very big roll when ridding and being safe.. my name is sue and i like the way you think.

Don't get me wrong.
I just think it's silly.
It is sad that she died. VERY sad.
Very upsetting to watch it. That kind of thing sticks with you
a long time if YOU LET it.
I saw a guy drive a tanker truck into a berm and light pole
and burn to death. I didn't give up grass, weeds, concrete, trucks, diesel fuel or light poles or roads. I didn't sell my truck on the spot.
That made me want to get out and live even more!
But it's not the atvs fault.
I just get a kick out of people. This happens or someone crashes
a motorcycle and right away. I'm selling mine!!
Well people crash and die in cars every day.
People seem to still want they're cars. They're just not as willing
to give that up. Funny how that seems to work isn't it?
Never crosses they're minds to give up the car.
Well. Someone had a heart attack and died in they're easy chair.
(My gilf friends dad, years ago). Better sell mine chair!
I'm sure someone died mowing the lawn.
Better sell my mower! YIPEEEE!!!!
I just think it's silly.
GET OUT AND LIVE LIFE!
Hopfully he will get another one here soon and get riding again.
Maybe he could build some good memories to help cover up
the bad one. He needs to try and remember the fun he probably had.

We need a paradigm shift in this industry, away from larded up monster utes, and toward lighter, highly stable, yet well suspended 4wd machines. Most folks don't need a huge work quad to go trail riding...do they! Yet that is where the market is headed.
The trend is to put mushy long travel IRS suspension on some huge 800 pound 800 cc machine. All this does is make it top heavy and a ticket to a rollover!
Don't blame the manufacturer - they will only build what people buy. No one made you go out and buy a rancher - there are plenty of smaller, lighter and slower quads to choose from. Yes - the trend is bigger and faster, that is what people want. The real problem is too many people buy more than they can handle, or allow untrained riders on their quads. How many times have you seen two (or more) kids on a one-person 500cc quad? We all have, and we all know it is wrong. Really what I am saying is don't blame the spoon factory because Rosie O'Donnell is fat.
