Went out this weekend to a new park in Lawrence county Indiana and was talking to the guys that ran it and they told me there is going to be a hare scramble around May 21 sponsered by D.I.R.T. of Indiana. For those interested! I myself have never ran in a hare scramble so this will be new to me.

 

I was just wondering how the trails where? Is it a good place to ride because me and some guys where going to got there and ride but did not know if it was worth the drive.

 

It is a very fun park. The people that run it are super friendly as well as the people that ride there. They even have camping available but its limited. There is a web site as well as some pics. As of right now they are still developing trails. There is going to be a flat track as well as a MX track. They have already built a Mini MX track for the young riders which my son loves and rides his lt-80 on. The trails right now are pretty slow and tight. They are all one way trails and there are atv trails as well as bike trails which are really hard to ride on with a quad. They arent real agressive but there are a few tough hillclimbs just short and steep. The main thing that I hate is the price, $15 for non ABATE members, $10 for members, $5 for kids under 13. Just found out that there are season passes but I dont know how much they are. To become an ABATE member its $45 for a couple and $25 for single. Hope that helps!
