NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good Morning PSAR!
Thanks for the info Jana, I was kind of thinking about bringing a truck and trailer of hay up that way on speculation but, like you, have found the market has softened a bit. Think I'll wait till mid winter and find someplace that needs hay bad. I do have a source for good grass/alfalfa mix. It's Fescue, like orchard grass, and about 30% alfalfa.
You guys are going to have a blast on the Naches Trail, About the only riding I've done all summer has been project related but quite a bit of it has been in the mountains. Sure am glad I'm retired cause I don't have the time to go to a job.
I like the quads, no hay to put up, no road apples to shovel and the vet bills are even lower.
You folks have a super day and wash your quads, don't want the Griz to feel out of place.
Mike

I kinda learned to avoid fescue since it can adversely affect mares in foal and cause birth defects, but doesn't affect adult horses other than that. Just one of those things that became a habit. But then, you ask 10 horse people a question about horses and you'll get 10 different answers.
I have said the same thing about my quads. They are much cheaper to ignore when you aren't using them. But then they don't nicker at you in the morning either.
Naches is a few days off. 8am work for breakfast for everyone?
I will post restaurant meeting details when I find my info on it.
Have a great day everyone.
Hello PSAR!
Sounds like everyone is getting ready for Winter! It sure has been cold in the mornings. Justin and I are still debating if we are going hunting this year. If we do go, again I won't be hunting as Allyson will most likely be going with us. So I will just hang out at camp with her, playing in the snow.
