NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good Noontime PSAR!
Well, my Mac died and I've been off the net for a few days. Using SWMBOs windows based lap top and having a heck of a time. Too complicated.
Firs near Washougal are about 70 miles west of us down the Columbia so not a concern here. We had snow yesterday and rain last night so things are good and wet finally. Fire season is over for the flat lands now but the woods will still burn.
Glad you all had a good ride last weekend, sounds like quite an outing. Sure wish i could have been along for the fun. Glad to hear it was nearly incident free.
I put in a new pellet stove in the kitchen Sunday, sure is nice and those **** are a lot easier than splitting wood. SWMBO says by next year we will have the pellet stove in the basement and a NEW wood kitchen range in the kitchen. Apparently we are not going to refurbish the old Monarch kitchen range but order a new one from some place in Canada. There is about a six to eight month waiting list to get one with all the bells and whistles. They even come with automatic draft control to control the oven temperature and a stack robber to get the last of the heat from the chimney.
Sun is out now and the kittens are playing on the front pourch. Teasing the dogs I guess.
You all have a great day.
Mike
