NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good Morning PSAR!
Well, went to Portland area yesterday and all I managed to pick up was the beam and some small parts of an old horse drawn plow. It's amazing how people will exaggerate the condition of stuff on Craigslist. No big deal just gotta look things over. "Engine not running but turns over" meant there was no flywheel and the spark plug threads were stripped out. "Needs TLC" meant the tractor had been sitting in the weeds since the Carter Administration and was rusted beyond recovery. In both cases top dollar for a running machine was the lowest they would go. Polite "Thanks but that's not really what I'm looking for" and on my way.
SWMBO and I enjoy these outings and see a lot of new areas in the process. Had a great lunch at a really little place on Cornelius Pass west of Portland just of Hwy 30. Really good meatball sandwich and pie. Special of the day. Lot's of working guys stopping for lunch.
Rod, one thing about these little tractors and such is they sure take up a lot less space and the parts are small and easy to handle. Fun teaching the grandsons about mechanical stuff.
So, Hap's back to the plumbing. I thought you re-plumbed that house last year. Must have a bunch of pipe in the place. From what I saw of your house it's not that old, did the pipe rot out that quick?
Have a great day.
Mike

Just finished replacing all the old cast iron/galvanized drain and vent pipes in the family room side of the house, planning on replacing all the cast iron and galvanized in the rest of the house.
