NEW Puget Sound/Seattle/Northwest area riders MEET HERE!!! thread
Good Morning PSAR!
Rod, what is "Flowtrol" or are you just messing with Happa? Not that you ever do. I can just see Hap in front of a TV displaying massive "body english", is it anything like the infamous "Happa Trailer Dance" I've never been privy to view?
SWMBO and I left saturday evening, drove to Woodburn Or and stayed the night there. Went on to a place outside Eugene, Or and picked up a center articulated lawn tractor made by Bolens. It's called a Estate Keeper and not all that common a machine. Thing is complete except for the motor which is no big deal. In good shape but the body needs paint. At least it's not all rusty. Also picked up an old Airins walk behind tiller, little thing that would be good for a lady or kid to use weeding the paths and such in a garden.
Same guy had a bunch of old, cast iron, engines and I ended up getting seven of those as well. Lot's of rusty gold treasures.
SWMBO has escalated to "Just what you needed!" but she's still laughing. She kind of likes the Estate Keeper, guess I'll just have to paint it and keep it.
Got home last night, total 580+ mile round trip, and found an e-mail telling me not to pick up the tractor I was going after today. Someone came by and bought it. After the owner and I had agreed on my picking it up. I suspect he got offered a few bucks more and greed kicked in. Wrote back and ask him what happened and if he had found what his word was worth. No answer yet, probably never will be. Good riddance say I.
32 degrees, fog and frost this AM. Hope it clears, we want to get this painting done.
Have a good time with the doors Hap, remember, hinges on one edge, know on the other.
Mike

The doors I ordered for him come preprimed. Usually when installed they are then sprayed with paint.
Happa will be painting these himself with either a roller, brush or both.
Floetrol helps the latex paint settle out any roller marks, stipple, or brush marks.
Hence, Floetrol, it helps the paint flow.
